Well, having just been last weekend to the Matisse drawing show at the Walters in Baltimore (see above) I was not dying to see more of his works on paper, thinking wrongly, that I had pretty much exhausted the genre. But of course, Matisse, in reflecting on Rodin's work, did a lot of such and in this exhibition, one can see Rodin's work juxtaposed with Matisse's - many seeming almost unrelated.
The most fun art here (as it was in Baltimore) was/were actually the paintings, many of which bordered on the grotesque and were from all over.
