He started out with a terrine of sanglier with a lovely bloc of foie gras inside which he generously shared with us.
Then he had veal kidneys and Colette and I had deer with a red wine sauce and pear and celery puree, as classic as you can get.
Finally we all three had their traditional Grand Marnier souffle.
With two bottles of wine and no bottled water our bill was 146 Euros (the waiter, whom we all know since time immemorial comp'd us to coffee.)
