The Michael Kenna retrospective at the BnF, Richelieu was a 3 Wow show (2 wows for the crisp photos and 1 wow for the range of his skill). He can film clearly outlined smokestacks in Dearborn, misty swings in the Catskills, Impressionist scenes at Versailles and Japanesy landscapes in Japan (such as that above). Running til January 24th.
The other show "Choses Vues, Choses Lues" is another matter, comprising books, art and video that would take your hours to see all of, in the spectactular old reading room, which has been closed since the books were moved across the river. It's open until Jan 31st.
