On Wednesday, in Figaroscope, Emmanuel Rubin reviewed his usual five places, giving two hearts to two – Chez la Vielle, coordinates well-known, with menus at 28 and 38 and a la carte 50 E, where the new Asian/Japanese chef prepares items such as chicken terrines, kidneys and cream of chestnuts; and Albion, coordinates given before, serving an oyster vichyssoise, cod and lemon dessert. Three restaurants merited one heart: Black Turtle, 46, rue Croix des Petits Champs in the 1st, 01.42.86.93.45, closed Sundays, formula at 25, a la carte 35 E for a salad of boudin noir, partridge and entrecote; the Italian Il Circulo in the 9th; and Americanesque Livingstone Steak House in the 1st.
