A dear friend told me about the exhibit at the MEP (I said, the MEP? Huh?"), aka the Maison Europeenne de la Photographie, in which photos by Alice Springs (maybe she wanted you to think of Ayer's Rock), born in 1932 (Holy cow, older than me) as June Browne in Melbourne, later known as June Brunell, married to Helmut Newton, were featured. Quite simply, the photo of the ever-depressed-looking-Charlotte Rampling on the posting outside, says it all, not much of a much.
