Today, four of us who have eaten at Spring a bit, returned for the offerings of December and they were, as usual, wide-ranging and magnanimous:
So among this bounty of treasures were: mackerel, eel, radishes and butter and bread; two bottles of Jura Poulsard Vieux Bourg; oysters, scallops and Granny strips and chestnut soup; pintade two ways, a puree with quince somewhere lurking; pear tarte, lemon cream pie, Armagnac ice cream with prunes, and a thyme and clementine citron concoction.
As usual, we were impressed and thankful for a delicious meal with friends. Daniel and his team know how to please folks!
