I've been to L'Aromatik a couplea times and have always been impressed even after the departure of pastry chef Ulla. Tonight we went with three folks from the old country and it was very satisfying.
The amuse(s) was/were a sardine/creme/fluff that was quite good.
Then we split between the watermelon gaspacho and "spring roll" (really a cool cabbage leaf) wrapped around lots of chopped veggies and red shrimp.
Mains were a terrific looking cod with stacked veggies, pigeon with nectarines (inspirational), and a noisette of veal with cooked veggies.
For dessert we all chose the mango, passion fruit and other exotic flavors in a delectable combo.
Our bill was 90 E a couple (with a bottle of wine each) and no coffee.
Hi John, thanks for a great blog. Not wanting to sound greedy, but is it possible to include a shop front photo sometimes. Helps the imagination.
