This exhibition of 100 photos by father and daughter Pierre and Alexandra Boulat is a stunning tribute to the 25th anniversary of Reporters sans Frontières; it has everything from touching photos of bodies of children in an Iraqi morgue to chichi pix of Yves St Laurent.
A three Wow wonder.
The other show hanging/showing/blurring now though is a mystery to me. Even after I read the website blurb that says "This digital odyssey through paintings is designed as a real journey, where each of the forty works featured in the circuit tells its own story though digital imagery" I am totally clueless. Sure, great stuff, Rembrandt to Van Gogh but so what? Sorry, I'm too old, too crusty, too grouchy, whatever, but the only journey I went on took me out the exit as quickly as possible.
A minus Wow.
