As usual, the rules are, only in Paris and surrounds, only meals eaten at new places this year, only at lunch and only supplying total bill, usually with wine and coffee but not bottled water.
8.1 Accents, Tous, Fulgurances
8.0 L'Escudella, Chez Jean (9th)
7.8 Pirouette, Polissons
7.7 Le Bistro d'Yves
7.5 Parigots
6.9 Laborde, Apollo, Cochon Gaulois
I greatly enjoy your blog about dining in Paris. I may never get the chance to visit, but your review style and photos help me understand what it would be like to dine out there. I have one question, though. You often report "one bottle and one glass" of wine when at the bill total portion- why? I googled for an answer and could not find one, so please indulge my curiosity and explain what is the reason for that? My guesses would sound ludicrous, so I won't even type them.
Thank you for the wonderful blog, and many kind regards,
Nancy

The answer is rather banal I think; its because one of us has arrived before the other and had a glass of wine while waiting.
